cartain things, but a lot of our food is actually acting as a medicine for us. Bananas, for instance, are good for your stomach. Other fruits, such as raspberries, have natural aspirin in them. Oranges and lemons are high in vitamin C, which helps to fight colds. Garlic and yogurt are also very good for colds! Another favourite when we're ill is honey and no wonder. Honey helps you sleep and is very good for sore throats. Your mother is probably right when she says: "Eat it, it's good for you!"
