Above all Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone are a portion of outstanding literature for young readers. Story vivid, full of adventures, with moments blood-curdling, sometimes funny, at times instructing, but without the teaching smell. Story about a battle between good and evil in which a completely average young man can take part. Easy and so to identify with such a hero. Who knows, whether he isn't hiding in every four-eyes mimiced, laughed and pushed all along the way superbly heralding oneself wizard? After reading the back cover I put the book back with sorrow - so it is already an end? Fortunately not. There are already next volumes.
