Preparation time: Up to 30 minutes
Serves: Makes 8 pancakes
Ingredients: 8 tablespoons of plain flour, sifted
1 medium size egg, beaten
1 glass of milk
a little oil for frying
Method: Sift the flour into a bowl and make a hole in the middle. Add the egg and then gradually add half the milk, stirring constantly. Add the remaining milk and beat until smooth.
Heat a small frying pan and add a few drops of oil. Pour a little butter into the pan and move the frying pan so that the batter covers the bottom of the pan.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, until golden. Then flip it over and cook the other side.
